WINGS is an independent non-profit charitable society established in the summer of 1997. The society was simply born of a common vision by ordinary people to demonstrate responsibility toward the issues of social justice in our society today, specifically in the area of violence against women and children. The realization of the extent of domestic violence in our society today propelled them to focus their efforts there.
"Over these years, we have seen firsthand the devastating impact of abuse that permeates many relationships. Whether the bruises are visible on their faces or reflected in their eyes, abused women and children are some of the most vulnerable people in our society today."
Their goal is to help break this vicious cycle of violence and support women and children to choose to live free from abuse.
Their mission is to provide women and children in need the opportunity to gain strength and to live according to their true worth.
